DAY 1

Welcome to your first day of your internship! We're excited to get started! You should be as well!

First, you should have had a chance to sit with the CEO, Tim Gray, and COO, Robert Hamm, as well as meet your agency mentor. Robert will help you obtain any company logins, email address, and sign all of your onboarding paperwork.

When you meet your Grayscale mentor, he/she will guide you through the ins and outs of the office. Additionally, they will be available to answer any questions that may arise. Your Grayscale mentor will introduce you to everyone on the team, show you where your work area is, help you get set up, logged in, and generally be your work guide.

Of course, my door is always open, but I want you to utilize your mentor so we can ensure you have the best experience possible while starting your new journey.

EACH DAY YOU WILL SPEND HALF OF YOUR WORK DAY SHADOWING A TEAM MEMBER AND THE OTHER HALF WORKING ON LEARNING NEW SKILLS. DEPENDING ON HOW LONG YOU ARE HERE EACH DAY WILL DETERMINE HOW LONG YOU SHADOW.

Below are the things we would like to accomplish today.

  • Scan passport or Gov’t. issued ID + Birth Certificate or Social Security Card for your I-9

  • Log into the intern email and ensure you are set up correctly.

  • Go to lunch if you are taking one (depending on when you arrive)

  • Introduction to Grayscale team and roles.

  • Job Shadow - Research and Engagement Department.

    • Watch, Learn, Do

    • The engagement department is responsible for all client growth, customer service, and research. The team in this department give invaluable feedback to the Project Managers and Creative Teams on what is working and what is not. This position is the engine that drives the ship forward.

Every Thursday we have Grayscale University. It begins sharply at 9 am. If your internship schedule includes Thursday. Please come prepared to participate in discussions, take notes, and learn. *Early is on time, on time is late.

We are looking forward to getting you ingrained with the team.
